DISTRICT MAGISTRATE ORDERS ALL ESTABLISHMENTS HAVING MORE THAN 20 EMPLOYEES TO APPOINT COVID MONITORS

The District Magistrate Apneet Riyait on Saturday issued orders for all the establishments including government/private to appoint ‘COVID Monitors’ in their respective premises to strictly follow COVID-19 safety protocols without any fail.
Issuing orders in this regard, the District Magistrate said that all these establishments with more than 20 persons working therein would appoint a COVID Monitor, who ensured that all health safety protocols amid corona virus were being followed in true spirit. As per the orders these monitors have been mandated to comply with guidelines of health department including proper wearing of masks in the said establishments, time-to-time sanitization especially maintaining requisite physical distancing to contain the further spread of virus. In violation of these orders, legal action will be initiated against the violators.
